About the Beacon Program

The Beacon Program is for young adults ages 18 to 35 who are living with mental illness and want to make changes in their lives.

It is located in Kentville, Nova Scotia, but is available to people from anywhere in Nova Scotia.  People who come to the program typically stay about six months.

While here clients gain information and skills to help them in their recovery journeys.

The Beacon Program offers hope, support and empowerment.

Clients in the program attend Changing Tides Monday to Friday, and work one-to-one with their coordinator each day as well.  Click here to learn more about Changing Tides.
